Solids Liquids and Gases
I love flip books. Once I discovered the flip book I could come up with any reason to make one. This is not exactly a flip book but one is coming next! Here is a chart for Solids liquids and gasses. Students divide the paper into 3 even pieces. Each section should have a label, definition, picture with the atoms shown, and examples. You can give the students stickers or they can just color circles to represent the atoms. I have also included a rubric for this assignment.
Solids Liquids and Gases
I use these jars to show the differences in solids, liquids, and gases. The marbles are the tiny atoms all things are made of. The vases I had laying around the house but Hobby Lobby or the dollar store are good places to find them.
After going over solids, liquids and gasses out two hula hops in the room. On the tables put examples of solids and gases. Have the students sort them into the correct categories.

Sight word cards
I love these. I have printed these cards our for my son. You print, laminate and cut the cards apart. Then I found some wood circles at Hobby Lobby and wrote the alphabet on them. Match the wooden circles to the cards to make the sight words. I have left the document unlocked. This way if you want to change the words or change/remove the images you can.
Sight word cards
In things we love I mentioned how I love my new laminator, these are the types of things it is so great for. If you do not have a laminator at your school or just need to do something quick it's great to have in the room!

Halloween Project
Halloween is just around the corner! I always loved celebrating this holiday. Most schools don't allow for students to wear costumes anymore. This is a fun way of getting around that rule! It's a favorite!

Happy Fall Y'all!
A few days of nice weather and I have dropped the computer and started pulling fall decor out of the attic and looking to see what great stuff I can find at Hobby Lobby! I decided tonight it's time to get the computer back out and make something for fall! So here it is a fall rhyming activity. I am so excited to start adding more fall items. This is my favorite time of year!

Non Fiction Scavenger Hunt
Students will spend time learning that different types of books have different elements to them. Here is a page that could be used as a readers response or could be done as a class when learning elements of non fiction books.
