Have students celebrate Groundhog day with a short writing activity. Use a groundhog die cut or any groundhog picture and have them glue it on white paper. Have them draw a shadow if they think he will see his shadow. See example below--this is a great bulletin board filler!

Cute idea! I'm wondering about whether most teachers are going to include groundhogs day activities this year since it falls on a Saturday.
